just watched True Story, a movie that's based on a true story lmao
but not really, and so are the other movies that render themselves directed based on true stories actually.
i read an article about it, the writer was someone who followed the crime in 2011, he collected news about his trials, and for 7 years he'd repeatedly read about them lol. that's insane HAHHA
he said that the film was about Longo (the bad guy who killed his wife and 3 kids)'s soul and the thin line between truth and lie. but actually why on earth would it be about that? he said the sins he committed, 1 was lying and the other was killing, both are relatively the same (???)
so he thinks that the movie should focus on HOW and WHY he did it and not the 2.
idk la i think everyone has different perspectives on stuffs and his perspective definitely inspired me ahhaha
i'm not someone who would have a really impressive perspective tbh, i just follow?? sort of XD
and i wanna read the book! it's True Story by Michael Finkel, idk if i spelt his name correctly but that's that!
you guys should watch it it's a REEEEEEally deep movie ~
